Fast Furious - Supercharged - Attractions On Universal Studios Universal City, California

The first thing to know is that Fast & Furious - Supercharged isn't a standalone attraction at all. It's actually part of the Studio Tour and Nighttime Studio Tour. That means that you'll see it on the tram ride during that tour. A little confusing since Universal (and thus we do as well) lists it separately.

Here's how it works, and don't worry about spoilers because the plot is basically non-existent in true Furious style. At some point in your tour you'll spot a "shady" looking muscle car that fans will recognize from the movie. Your tour guide notifies security and suddenly the government is involved.

You then have to hide out in an old chop shop garage and that's when the show starts. First you watch a 2D movie but it's incredibly immersive the way it's done, feels almost like the actors are right there with you.

Next, your tram heads out into the next section of the tunnel you were in and now it's 3D time. Just like in King Kong 360 3-D, you'll see all sorts of 3D action all around you. It's an amazing feeling and experience and truly feels like you're speeding down the streets when, in fact, your tram isn't even rolling at all.
