The first thing to know is that King Kong 360 3-D isn't a standalone attraction at all. It's actually part of the Studio Tour and Nighttime Studio Tour. That means that you'll see it on the tram ride during that tour. A little confusing since Universal (and thus we do as well) lists it separately.
This award-winning "ride", created by Peter Jackson, is the world’s largest 3-D experience. You get to watch an epic struggle between King Kong and a 35 foot tall T-Rex. It takes place in one of the tunnels on the Studio Tour at which point the tram will pull in, you'll be told to put on your 3D glasses, and then the fun begins.
Though your tram won't be in motion during the attraction, it will bounce around a lot though it's all pretty tame.
