Home to The American Aventure show, but not much else. Dis-appointing.

The America Pavilion is supposed to be the centerpiece of Epcot's World Showcase so it has a pretty big chunk of land but there really isn't a lot going on here.

Yes, it's home to the The American Aventure which is a animatronic style show (and pretty impressive) but it feels like there should be a lot more going on here. Having the American Heritage Gallery and Voices of Liberty inside doesn't really help much.

Other pavilions are made up of several buildings that allow you to walk around and explore and get (sort of) a taste of what that country's essence is all about. There is a large outdoor theater area here too, but it is rarely used.

So this pavilion is just one big building and that's it. It's nicely designed and uses over 110,000 bricks that were hand crafted from Georgia clay but it's just one building. Just feels like there should be more going on here but at least it is a good places to use the bathroom.

Beyond the main attraction here you'll find food options that include Liberty Inn, a Funnel Cake stand, and Block & Hans. Sort of sad that these are all greasy fast food, high sugar items, or beer. This is how we want to represent American food? Why isn't there a table service option here. Are we really letting the Canada Pavilion win for best steak at their Le Cellier Steakhouse?

For shopping, you can stop at Heritage Manor Gifts which is pretty small. Kids will find a Kidcot Fun Stop here so don't forget to stop by and get stamped.
