Critter Country is a land located at Disneyland Park. This area actually started out as the Indian Village from 1956 through 1971 and then changed to Bear country in 1972. But once Splash Mountain opened in 1989 the area was changed to Critter Country since it was now home to all sorts of critters on the new mountain.
The big deal here is Splash Mountain and it's an amazing ride with amazing detail and not to be missed. Beyond that you'll have the far less exciting The Many Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh and not a whole lot else around here. On the food side, the Hungry Bear Restaurant is a great option with plenty of seating and nice views of the Rivers Of America.
