It's like The Haunted Mansion in a Little Mermaid theme. A classic in the making.

Under the Sea - Journey of The Little Mermaid is an omnimover style ride, one that moves slowly and endlessly which tends to keep the line moving at a fairly steady, though not exactly fast, pace. So it's similar to The Haunted Mansion or The Seas with Nemo & Friends.

This ride essentially shortens the story of The Little Mermaid movie into a ride and you'll get to travel "under the sea" and see all of the usual movie characters like Ariel, Flounder, and even the evil Ursula which is a pretty well crafted animatronic. Even Ariel has surprisingly realistic "flowing" hair that moves around as she dances.

I've seen some harsh reviews of this ride but what's not to like here? Slow moving, relaxing, and air conditioned? Check. Great animatronics, story, and music? Check. Tons of theming inside and out? Check. Fun for the whole family? Check. It's The Haunted Mansion in an Ariel world.

For those who have visited Disneyland Park in California, you'll find that California Adventure has its own The Little Mermaid - Ariel's Undersea Adventure which is what the Florida version was copied from. The California might be the same but the "building" theming in Florida is quite a bit more elaborate.
