The DoubleTree By Hilton isn't what you'd call close to the Disneyland Resort, even if they advertise it as "being on the doorstep of Disneyland Park". In fact, it's about a 3 mile walk to the gates of Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. Driving in or taking a shuttle service (it's complementary) is the way to get to the parks.
