Silly Symphony Swings is just those classic circular motion swing rides you'll find at any amusement park on the planet. Sit in a one or two person swing, they raise off the ground, and then start swinging you forward in a circular motion.
As the ride picks up speed you fling outward a bit. Think of it like the Golden Zephyr but with 1-2 person ride vehicles. It's fun, you get a great view of the park, and it's an excellent way to cool off.
Disney has tried to add some newer theming to the ride which is supposed to be inspired by the 1935 short, "The Band Concert". So as the ride rises up (it telescopes up) you'll see Mickey conducting the concert. It's really just some painted pictures which barely qualifies as theming in my book. It's another ride that doesn't feel very Disney at all. Still fun though.
If you have a fear of heights you may not like this ride.
