Big, flying futuristic looking aircraft that spin around. Dumbo the Flying Elephant this is not.

Matt Anderson's Take
The Golden Zephyr contains several large ride vehicles that are resemble flying aircraft (or spacecraft). Each car holds quite a few passengers with two people per row. The ride slowly spins and as it picks up speed the forces cause the vehicles to swing out further and further from the center of the ride.

It's very smooth so there is no bouncing around. You'll get some great views of the park along with some great wind-in-your action. It's very peaceful up there. While I wouldn't say it's scary or anything over the top, it's certainly much more than a Dumbo the Flying Elephant type ride.

If it gets windy at all this ride is likely to shut down.

Another ride that is often skipped or underrated by most.

I think I enjoy this ride because it goes so fast in a circle it feels like you're about to fly off. I think the swings at Disneyland are much better than Golden Zephyr.

Fun ride. Feels great on a hot day with the wind blowing in your hair. Fun to see things from up high and the wait isn't usually very long.

I love riding this one. It's so peaceful up in the air and you get great views of the park. We ride this one, again and again, every time we visit.
