The Walking Dead Attraction is a haunted house style walk through attraction. Most haunted houses are seasonal and temporary so they're often made on the cheap side. Since The Walking Dead is a more permanent attraction, it's constructed with longevity in mind. It's also far more detailed than your typical haunted house.

You'll be doing the walk through in small groups of 12 or so rather than pushing your way in a never ending line. This way, everyone in the group gets to experience each room and set piece rather than having just a few random people getting all of the good frights. This also avoids any chance of you seeing what may be jumping out at you before it happens!

The story starts off very much like the TV show did, so you'll find yourself in Harrison Memorial Hospital first, the same one that sheriff Rick Grimes wakes up in. You'll see the famous "Don’t Open / Dead Inside" signs complete with animatronic zombie hands that are bursting to get out at you, all triggered by various sensors.

As you move from room to room you'll see just how large and detailed each scene is, this isn't your typical Halloween Horror Nights type scary attraction at all. They've even include the infamous "Bicycle Girl" walker. Remember her, the one that is missing half of her body and drags herself along the ground with her arms. She's here, fully animated, and can even sense where you are in the scene. Creepy!

You'll eventually come across the cabin from seasons four, the one set ablaze by Daryl and Beth. This one includes some special effects that should give the appearance of real fire. Toss in smoke effects and various audio effects and you have a truly immersive experience that's meant to scare the poop out of you.
