The Simpson ride is a motion simulator style attraction. You'll sit in a car that moves, via hydraulic pumps, in sequence with the events that play out on the 80 foot tall OMNIMAX screen in front of you. The perfectly synced motion along with 3D effects really put you in Homer's world.
This same setup was previously home to the (now retired) Back To The Future ride. Those familiar with that old ride will know what to expect, though everything feels better and more crisp now. Other special effects come via wind and fog machines to help immerse you into Springfield.
Small children may have issues with some dark areas as well as loud noises but it's otherwise fairly tame, considering your vehicles doesn't ever leave it's base. The attraction is four and a half minutes of non-stop action and all of your favorite Simpsons characters will make a visit.
