Need to replace your Roomba Cleaning Head (affiliate link)? Follow along with your simple, step-by-step directions or watch the video at the bottom.
Step 1: Remove Bin
Remove the trash bin from the Roomba and turn your Roomba upside down.
Step 2: Remove Side Brush
Using a phillips screwdriver, remove the side brush and set it aside.
Step 3: Remove Bottom Plate
Using a phillips screwdriver, unscrew the four screws holding on the bottom plate. Two of the four will remove the battery door so remove the battery as well.
Step 4: Replace Cleaning Head
Using a smaller phillips screwdriver, remove the four screws holding the cleaning head module in place. Note that these screws are meant to stay with the module and not come all the way out. The module now lifts straight up and out. Place the new module in and screw it down without over tightening the screws.
Step 5: Attach Bottom Plate
Put the bottom plate back on and screw it in. Replace the battery pack and door and screw that in as well.
Step 6: Attach Side Brush And Bin
Put the side brush back on and screw it down. That's it, you're done!
