So you just got married and need a place to honeymoon. Or maybe it's a big anniversary trip or time to renew those wedding vows. Either way, you need a proper hotel or resort to stay at on Kauai. Here's a list, in no particular order, of great honeymoon friendly resorts on Kauai, Hawaii. There's something for everyone here.
Located on Kauai's north shore, The St. Regis Princeville Resort is one of Kauai's top resorts when it comes to class, luxury, service, and ratings. If you're after luxury on Kauai it's hard to beat this one. More at: The St. Regis Princeville Resort
Ko'a Kea Hotel & Resort is located right on Kiahuna Beach (Sheraton Beach) and has easy access via a walking path to Waiohai Beach Park and Poipu Beach Park as well so this one easily checks the "close to beach" box. It's also a small, boutique hotel with only 121 rooms and thus more personalized service. More at: Koa Kea Hotel & Resort
While I won't tell you that the Grand Hyatt is the best place to go if you're looking for peace and quiet, it is a very upscale resort that caters well to couples as well as families. The pool area here is second-to-none on Kauai and great for those looking to spend a lot of time poolside. And when you have to get away from the screaming keiki, the adult pool will be just what you need. More at: Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa
The Sheraton is a popular resort on Kauai's sunny south shore and located right on Waiohai Beach Park and next to Poipu Beach Park and Kiahuna Beach (Sheraton Beach). This is a large, busier resort than some of the boutique hotels but that also means there's a lot more available here for you. In addition to onsite dining options you'll be close to all of the dining and shopping that Koloa has to offer. More at: Sheraton Kauai Resort
