An AFR is Disney code for Accidental Fecal Release, meaning somebody pooped in the pool.
When this happens the lifegaurds will all get an AFR message on their walkie talkies and immediately make everyone get out of the pool. They'll then dump obscene amounts of chlorine into the pools and let it cycle through for a few hours.
Then you'll be free to jump back in, all while doing your best not to think about what just happened in that pool. Fear not, the floater will be removed, but the gallons of pee from every other kid (and more likely, the adults) will still keep you company.
