Disneys Wilderness Lodge - Hotels On Magic Kingdom Lake Buena Vista, Florida

Disney's Wilderness Lodge is located in the Magic Kingdom Resort area, slotted between Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and Disney's Contemporary Resort but not actually on the Walt Disney World Monorail system.

The Wilderness Lodge is considered a Deluxe Level resort and comes with all of the bells and whistles you'd expect from a resort / hotel in this category. The resort is themed on America’s Great Northwest and inspired by turn-of-the-century National Park lodges. It feels somewhat similar to Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa at the California based Disneyland Resort.

A neat babbling brook starts in the lobby of the hotel and works its way to the outside where it meanders and eventually dumps into the pool. The pool itself is heated and surrounded by pine trees to give a nice woodsy feel. The pool area includes a small waterslide, hot and cold whirlpool spas, and a kiddie pool. There is also a Hidden Springs Pool, with its own whirlpool spa, by the villas.

Onsite dining options include Artist Point, Whispering Canyon Cafe, Roaring Fork, Trout Pass Pool Bar, Territory Lounge, along with room service options.
