Wilderness Explorers is an attraction at Animal Kingom that gives you the chance to become an actual Wilderness Explorer, just like Russell from the Disney Pixar film Up! There are dozens of self-guided activities with missions that range from animal observation to learning nature skills and they're scattered all over the park.
Every time you complete a challenge you can collect a new sticker badge that gets placed on your official Wilderness Explorer field guide. Help diagnose a sea turtle health issue and earn your Veterinary Badge. Search for dinosaur fossils and earn your Dinosaur Badge. Or find some Yeti artifacts to earn your Yeti Badge. These are just some of the various badges you can earn as you discover a new way to explore the Animal Kingom.
To start, just grab your field guide from HQ which you'll find marked on our map. You can also get one from any of the Wilderness Explorer stops in Africa, Rafiki's Planet Watch, Asia, or Dinoland U.S.A.
