The Tree of Life is the park icon for at the Animal Kingom and you'll find it easily on Discovery Island after entering the park. While it houses a "real" attraction which is It's Tough to be a Bug!, the tree itself is also an attraction.
The tree stands at 145 feet tall and is 50 feet wide at the base. The trunk has over 300 detailed animal carvings all around it and through its branches. It's certainly something to see close up and in person.
At night, the Tree of Life awakens with bright and colorful lights, animal projections, and special effects as the animal spirits within come alive.
