Test Track is a popular ride at Epcot and there's a good reason for that: it's tons of fun!
The recently re-themed ride first has you enter a pre-show area where you'll use a touch screen to create your own car. You'll get to customize various aspects of the car such as how efficient it is, how responsive it, how capable it is, and how powerful it is.
You'll then board the ride vehicle which is basically a car (with rubber tires and all) that holds six people in two rows of three. LCD screens in front of your seat will show you how well your design stacks up against designs from others.
The ride will start out with a series of quick turns, fast stops, and then head out for the high speed loop, which is outside, where you can ready speeds around 60 MPH. Sure, we do more than that on highways but it's quite a thrill when you are speeding along on banked turns.
When it's all over your design will be compared to others in your car so you can see who won and who lost in the various areas of car design.
If you've ridden Test Track before you know the drill, nothing has changed and it's still the same track it's always been from the day it opened. It's just a new theme that is applied to the ride and it works well.
The only downside here is its popularity which means really long lines. FastPass+ is a good option for this. They also offer a single rider line which moves quickly since the cars hold three in each row and most people travel in pairs. But if you go the single rider route you will be split up from your group.
