I think we're all familiar with this one, right? You've either been on the ride or seen the movies or at least know the catchy theme song, Yo Ho, Yo Ho, A Pirate's Life for Me. This is one of the best Disney attractions ever made.
You and several other guests will board your pirate ship and head on a 9 minute cruise through a canon battle, a burning village, the dungeon, and many other fun scenes. Your boat will take a very small dip but you won't get more than a few drops of water on you at most. Otherwise, it's a very slow moving ride.
The ride has been updated with characters from the movie so expect to see Captain Jack Sparrow and various others along your journey.
The original version of Pirates opened in California's Disneyland in 1967 and was one of the last attractions that Walt himself oversaw. It was originally planned to be a walk through attraction but boats were added instead. It was so popular there that this version Florida was created.
