Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin is a great example of the perfect Disney ride. It's an omnimover, one that is continually moving, and so the line moves at a fairly constant pace. It's a semi-dark ride but by no means scary for children and it's almost long enough to make waiting in line okay. And, it's very interactive. Even the queue is pretty decent.
You and your Space Ranger friend will board your spaceship in an attempt to defeat the evil emperor Zurg. To do that you'll sit in a ride vehicle and each of you will take control of a laser gun (think laser tag). Press the trigger and it fires a laser shot. All over the ride you'll find special Z targets, hit those and you rack up points. The more points you get the better you did and the higher you'll be ranked at the end of the ride.
Aim for out of the way Z targets or hidden targets and you'll score the highest points. The queue here is distinct in that it has a life size animatronic Buzz Lightyear that's really well done.
