Napa Rose is located in Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa . Here you can dine on Roasted Maple Leaf Duck Breast, Petite Filet of Angus Beef Tenderloin, Meyer Lemon Crème Brûlée, and so much more. If you only splurge on one restaurant at the Disneyland Resort, it should be this one!

They are only open for dinner and reservations are highly recommended at least 60 days in advance. If you don't have reservations and can't get in try Napa Rose Lounge instead which is in the same location. Napa Rose is a Disney restaurant so it is a place you could bring the kids but you really shouldn't. They're not going to appreciate the foods served here and things are pricey so go without them.

I finally got to try Napa Rose and went for Vintners Table which is a price fixe type meal. In this case it was $100 per person for a four course meal. A wine pairing with 4 different wines was also available for another $45 per person. Naturally, I bit on both and this turned out to be the single best meal I've ever had in my life. Period.

Each of the four courses was amazing, even for this non-adventurous eater. I'm also not a big wine drinker but these were all excellent and unlike any other wines I've had (because if I do have wine it's likely of the cheap variety). The first course was a salad that included a cannoli at the end of it. Why don't all salads include a cannoli at the end?

The next two course were meat courses and included things I've never, ever tried before. These were veal, beef cheek, and cafe tongue. These aren't items I'd normally go for but all were incredible. Yes, even the cafe tongue was delicious. The dessert course was equally amazing.

As for service? Also unlike anything I've ever experienced. It was beyond excellent. Sure, it was all a bit too fancy for my tastes but also a fun splurge. I can't recommend Napa Rose enough, you simply must try it. Don't even look at the menu, just order the Vitners Table, which changes weekly. Doesn't matter what it is, just order it. It's a very unique experience.
