Big Thunder Mountain Railroad is a great roller coaster experience for most of the family. While it is a thrill ride, it's one more on the tame side of the thrill-o-meter. It can be a bit bumpy at times.
You'll board a mine car and then it's off for a wild ride in an abandoned mine shaft and through the wild west. The trains feel like they're going faster than they are due to all of the tight turns and twists.
The train has 5 cars on it, each car will hold 6 people with 2 people per row. It's an excellent ride and one I highly recommend. Riding at night is also a pretty awesome experience and if timed with the fireworks from Fantasmic! it's downright magical.
