NOTE: As of February 16, 2015 this attraction will be closed permanently. In early 2016 Disney will open a new attraction in this spot with a new ride system and new ride vehicles.
Imagine a giant air hockey table where you could sit on the puck and you have the overall idea that is Luigi's Flying Tires. You can sit 3 people per car and there are many cars on the "field" at once.
When the ride stars up air is blown up from the field and it causes your car to hover on a cushion of air. You then have to work with the people in your car to lean forward, back, left, and right to control the direction of your vehicle. You can cruise around or try to bump into others.
The cars move really slow and you only get a few minutes of "airtime", but it's a ton of fun. The line tends to get long and moves fairly slow.
