French Market Restaurant is a counter service restaurant that offer a variety of options such as Cajun meatloaf, southern style half chicken, red snapper, and Creole shrimp paste. My favorite here is the French Dip which is surprisingly good, even if a bit on the small side.
This place gets very busy pretty much all the time it seems like. Although the line to get food goes fairly fast, it's very loud inside and sometimes difficult to hear and place your order. Seating is outside and a good portion of it is shaded but it too goes fast. It's often difficult to get a table here so you may want to have one person in your group scout out a table while the rest order and deliver the food.
