Good intentions apparently equally fairly boring Innoventions.

Innoventions is all about letting you see and experience the latest technologies through hands on exhibits, games, and demonstrations.

It's located in the round building that used be the Carousel Theater which used to be home to the General Electric Carousel of Progress. This two story building is filled with some interesting things to see, and other things that are far less interesting.

This Innoventions is nowhere near the size and scale of its cousin over in Florida's Epcot but it's along the same general idea. It's a cool place to cool off for a bit and kids are likely to find a couple of interesting things but it's not really all that impressive.

Some of the exhibits, like the Iron Man displays, are really just a waste of space. I'm sure Iron Man fans will disagree here, but there's nothing exciting about seeing some Iron Man suit props in my world. Other displays are just video games. Xbox 360 anyone? Cast members will give various demonstrations of new technology but it often feels outdated (tech is so far to keep up with these days) and it's sometimes painful to watch them demo something to a crowd of 3 people.

The home of the future exhibit is neat and all, but it's all stuff we can (mostly) buy off the shelf today and thus not really ground breaking. This is a huge space that's begging to be put to better use with a new ride of some sort. Heck, even bringing back the (neat) Carousel of Progress would be great.
