Part of UC Santa Cruz Department of Oceanography, the Seymour Marine Discovery Center has many exhibits related to regional sealife.
For those that love visiting aquariums, this is a good one. Students from UC Santa Cruz give presentations and explanations of the different creatures in their many aquariums and touch pools. There are a couple of impressive whale skeletons on the outdoor grounds to check out, and a great view of Natural Bridges Beach from the cliff outside the building. Great for kids and adults alike.
