A cabin in the redwoods where the rules of gravity don't apply. Wild!

The Mystery Spot is a place from out of the Twilight Zone where billiard balls roll upward, water flows up hill, and short people become tall. A tilted cabin creates an illusion that things are a bit off in the universe. I'm sure there is a logical twist to all of this, but my small brain is not smart enough to explain it.

We had a tour guide who told funny jokes and comments along the way. I recommend visiting - it's fun, but it might make you a bit nauseous since the place really messes with your senses.

History
Around 1943, a lumber company was attempting to sell the land that is currently the Mystery Spot parking lot. When it was sold, however, the lumber company forced the buyer to also buy two hills to the north and south. When a few men working for the buyer traveled up one of the hills, they immediately became exhausted and could hardly pull out a compass. The previous plans to build summer homes and cabins were abandoned and instead, the Mystery Spot attraction was built.
