Activated Charcoal has long been used to treat people who have ingested poison or overdosed on drugs.
Activated Charcoal is an absorbent substance. Toxins adhere to the activated charcoal, but not to the GI system.
Even though it seems that the charcoal would stain the teeth, it does not. Instead the toxins in your mouth adhere to it and wash away when you rinse your mouth.
Activated Charcoal can also keep your mouth healthy by fighting against gingivitis and the bacteria that cause tooth decay.
It is easy to use, all you need is the activated charcoal, which you can buy at most health food store and it sold in capsules.
Take a capsule and dump it into a small bowl. Wet your tooth brush and drip it into the charcoal. Be careful not to get any on your clothes or tile grout because it will stain.
Brush in small circles for two minutes then carefully rinse your mouth trying not to splash it everywhere. Your sink will not be pretty when you are done, but you mouth will look and feel clean.
You can use this as often as you want. You should start to notice that your teeth are whiter after a few uses.
