Kahekili Beach Park - Beaches On Maui Lahaina, Hawaii

Kahekili Beach Park is located just north of Ka'anapali Beach on the west coast of Maui. Just like Ka'anapali Beach, this is another resort area so the beach along here is also lined with resorts. The most notable resort here is The Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort Villas which is a super-ultra-mega resort.

If you aren't staying at a resort here, you can find the public parking easily. There is one access lot off of Honoapiilani Highway. Just turn towards the ocean (west) onto Kai Malina Parkway / Halawai Drive and then get read to make a sharp left (U turn really) immediately after the intersection. Follow that road to a decent sized lot that is public parking for this beach then walk through the grassy field to the beach.

A better lot with a shorter walk, very nice bathrooms, BBQ grills, picnic tables, and a nice grassy area can be found a bit further north. From Honoapiilani Highway, turn towards the ocean onto Lower Honoapiilani Road then turn left onto Honoapiilani Park Access Road (first left) and park at the end.

This beach is very long and there's plenty of sand to stretch out on. It's a great beach if you are staying at one of the many resorts along here, but also a good beach to visit if you're not. Excellent facilities here though it's pretty touristy with all of the mega resorts that are popping up.
