Located below the 13th green of the Kauai Lagoons Golf Course are 2 secluded coves of sand that are good for snorkeling. The 2 sand coves are separated by lava rock. There are views of the cruise ships coming and leaving Nawiliwili Harbor and the Ninini Point Lighthouse, but the lava wall behind shields the view of anything behind you. It's a bit awkward to visit, but if you park at the clubhouse parking lot, there is a path that will take you to the beach.
This beach is to be visited when conditions are calm. Don't attempt to visit or snorkel when surf is up - it is secluded with no one around to see you if you find yourself in a treacherous situation.
