An optional extra cost to skip the long lines on 20 popular rides and attractions.
California's Great America offers the optional Fast Lane which is a pass (in addition to the regular park admission) that you can purchase which is basically a way to avoid the lines on their most popular attractions.
They currently have 20 rides and attractions that are part of the Fast Line system such as Gold Striker, Flight Deck, and many more. Once purchased, Fast Lane lets you ride your favorite rides over and over again, as many times as you want all day long. There are no limits on the number of times you can ride but the number of Fast Lane passes they sell each day is limited.
Fast Lane attractions have separate ride entrances and exclusive access points so you don't have to wait in line with the unwashed masses. It's very much like Disney's Fast Pass system, only you are paying for the privilege here and aren't limited by the number of times you can ride. Expect to pay at least $40 extra for this pass, though the prices can be even higher depending on the day you choose.
