These always make me think of Christmas Time when my mom made them!
This is a family favorite and super easy to make!
Ingredients:
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
½ cup peanut butter
¼ cup butter
1 tsp vanilla
9 cups Chex cereal (any variety)
1 ½ cup powdered sugar
Step 1
In a 1 quart microwavable bowl, mix chocolate chips, peanut butter and butter. Microwave uncovered on High for 1 minute; stir. Microwave 30 seconds longer or until mixture can be stirred smooth. Stir in vanilla.
Step 2
In a large bowl, place cereal. Pour chocolate mixture over cereal, stirring until evenly coated. Pour into 2 gallon Ziploc bag.
Step 3
Add powdered sugar. Seal bag; shake until well coated. Spread on waxed paper to cool about 30 minutes. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
Makes 18 serving (1/2 cup each)
