Chester Hesters Dino Rama - Information On Animal Kingdom Lake Buena Vista, Florida

Chester & Hester's Dino Rama is a mini park within a land within a park. Not following all of that? Okay, within Animal Kingom there is a land called Dinoland U.S.A. and within that land is a smaller section that is Dino Rama.

So what's so special about Dino Rama? Honestly, not a whole lot, and depending on who you talk to it's either an okay area with some fun rides and games or it's one of the worst parts in any Disney park on the planet.

See, the entire area tends to feel like a really cheap and poorly themed roadside carnival. You can't help but walk in here and feel like Disney had to fill some space when the park was first being built. And that's all okay, but this many years later and it hasn't changed makes you think they've just given up.

So what's inside? The only rides here are Tricera Top Spin and Primeval Whirl. Then they tossed in some carnival midway style games that you can play, and win prices from, for an extra cost. While kids will enjoy some parts of this area, and this area is really intended for kids, it's odd to note that the only good ride here, which is Primeval Whirl, has a 48" height requirement on it. The other ride, Primeval Whirl, is just a hub and spoke Dumbo The Flying Elephant ride.

I'd love to see something else done with this area. I don't like midway games in a Disney park, it feels cheap and another way to spend money on an already pricey vacation, and the rides here are something you'd buy at Carnival-Rides-R-Us. The theming in here is awful as well.
