DINOSAUR is a pretty neat experience, but it's also very loud (can't stress that enough) and very bumpy. The idea is that you will travel back in time to resuce an Iguanadon from extinction before the meteor that killed all dinosaurs hits the earth.

You start by entering the Dino Institute and get to see various prehistoric exhibits along the way and Bill Nye The Science Guy will also make an appearance to help wrap you into the story.

When it's time to ride you'll board a time rover that can hold up to 12 guests. It's sort of like a big Jeep or safari type vehicle (like the one used in Disneyland's Indiana Jones ride). The vehicle will drive itself along the ground but also moves as it drives. Meaning, the top part of the ride vehicle will bounce, twist, and turn as if it is reacting to the events happening around it. It's very cool but also makes for a very, very bumpy ride.

On top of the bumpy factor, this ride is loud. I mean really loud, far louder than it needs to be. With that in mind, and the fact that it is very dark, smaller kids may hate this ride. Anyone with back problems should avoid it.

Assuming you decided to hop on and travel back in time you'll get to see a variety of animatronic dinosaurs while on your rescue mission. Naturally, the mission won't go quite as planned and there are some fun surprises along the way, one of which will capture your photo.

Will you make it back before the meteor hits Earth? Of course, no surprise there. Overall, it's a very good thrill ride.
