Stitch's Great Escape! is much like ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter which is the attraction it replaced. It's a high energy, and very loud, theater-in-the-round experience.

So the theater is round with all of the seats forming a circle as the bulk of the show takes place in the center, though plenty of things happen all around the theater. A clever mix of story, sound, lighting, and other special effects make for a pretty crazy sensory experience.

The story is based on Disney's Lilo & Stitch franchise. You're a newly appointed security recruit with the Galactic Federation Prisoner Teleport Center helping to transport a dangerous prisoner. As it turns out, that prisoner is none other than Experiment 626 (also known to you as Stitch). Stitch escapes and all sorts of chaos ensues as he wreaks havoc all around you, most of it in the dark.
The attraction has normal movie style seats but note that you are harnessed in. While the show is appropriate for all ages, it does get very dark and very loud at times so it may frighten some children.
